Welcome to Panura: Web Video Player ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Panura: Web Video Player.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We do not collect any personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it to us via support requests.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This includes your device type, operating system version, the app version, an approximate country or region derived from your IP address, which screens of the app are opened, and — if the app crashes — the technical details of that crash. Firebase identifies an installation of the app with a random identifier; it is not your advertising identifier and is not linked to your name, email or any account.
When you play something, the app also records the kind of video it was — a format such as "hls" or "mkv", whether it came from the web or from your own device, and which of its playback engines handled it. This is how we learn which formats need work. It never includes the address, the page it came from, or the name of the video.
This data is used only for debugging, improving app performance and understanding which features are used. It is not used for advertising and is not sold. It never includes the web pages you visit, your browsing history, or the address or title of anything you play.

We do not use any of these permissions to access private data beyond the media files you choose to play through the app.
Panura: Web Video Player acts as an intermediary tool that allows you to play and extract media files from various sources. The app processes this data locally on your device. We do not transmit your video viewing history, extracted links, or local files to any of our servers.
Browsing history, shortcuts, resume positions and detected streams are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded, and deleting the app deletes them with it.
Beyond that, three things leave your device. Anonymous crash reports and usage statistics go to Google through Firebase, as described in section 2. A report you send with “Report Page” carries the page address and the reason you typed, and nothing that identifies you. The app also fetches a small configuration file from panura.app — the current app version and the rules that help it recognise video streams — which is an ordinary download and sends us nothing about you.
Our app may use third-party services — Google Play Services, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google Cast — which have their own privacy policies regarding data collection.
As per the Google Play Store and Apple App Store guidelines, Panura: Web Video Player strictly restricts and blocks all media extraction from YouTube and its associated domains. No user data relating to these platforms is processed.
The app includes a web browser, which can reach any website you type in. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Parents on iOS can restrict web access with Screen Time; on Android, with Family Link.
We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
